Scară de mină – sec. XVIII-XIX

Scările din lemn sunt folosite din cele mai vechi timpuri şi până în prezent în cadrul activităţii miniere deoarece sunt uşoare, se repară uşor şi pot fi urcate fără mult efort în suitoarele de aeraj (acestea măsoară până la 50 metri) şi au ca rol intrarea în abatajele care se exploatează prin înmagazinare. O altă sarcină a scărilor în procesul minier a fost acela de a ajuta la procesul de armare, formarea schelelor pentru securizarea tavanelor galeriilor, unde roca prezintă semne de instabilitate şi pericol pentru mineri.

Ladder – 18th-19th centuries

Wooden ladders have been used since ancient times, until now, in the mining activity because they are light, easy to repair and can be taken, without much effort, in the ventilation galleries (which measure up to 50 metres) and they have the role of ensuring the entrance to the places where exploitation is done through storage. Another task of the ladder in the mining process was to help the reinforcement process, by making scaffolds for securing the gallery ceilings where the rock showed signs of instability and danger for the miners.
